Mini Pecan Tarts | Recipe


Put a twist on traditional Pecan Pie! You’ll save a ton of calories without sacrificing the taste of that pie that we all look forward to.


 

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup pecans, chopped
  • 15 mini phyllo shells

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350o
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine butter, egg, brown sugar, honey and vanilla. Mix well to combine.
  3. Stir in chopped pecan
  4. Arrange phyllo shells on baking sheet and fill each with one heaping teaspoon of pecan mixture.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes and let cool before serving.
