Sautéed Collard Greens with Bacon Recipe

Sauteed Collards with Bacon



  • 2 slices Applegate natural bacon, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3-4 cups collard greens, 1-inch wide strips, thick stems removed
  • Black pepper


In a large skillet, cook bacon on medium-high heat until crispy, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds. Add collards greens and sauté until just wilted, about 3 minutes. Season with pepper to taste.
