Sauteed Collards with Bacon
- 2 slices Applegate natural bacon, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3-4 cups collard greens, 1-inch wide strips, thick stems removed
- Black pepper
In a large skillet, cook bacon on medium-high heat until crispy, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds. Add collards greens and sauté until just wilted, about 3 minutes. Season with pepper to taste.
